MOVE! Weight Management Program

Located in Wichita, KS, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to improving the health and quality of life for Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connect them with personalized weight management solutions tailored to their individual needs. MOVE! offers a variety of services, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program, which allows for in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer independence, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available to assist Veterans in managing their weight at their own pace. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who continue to face challenges after participating in MOVE!.
