Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Wichita, KS, is dedicated to fostering a just and sustainable food system by training and empowering individuals to be leaders and advocates in their communities. This fellowship offers a unique, hands-on educational experience that emphasizes organic food systems, ecological literacy, and community engagement. Fellows participate in a six-month immersive program where they gain practical skills in diverse agricultural practices, run market-style farms, and support local initiatives such as farmers markets and community gardens. By partnering with regional non-profits, Fellows apply their training in real-world settings during a Community Action Year, all at no cost to promote accessibility. Our mission is to cultivate a new generation of advocates for equitable food access and environmental stewardship in the heart of Kansas.
