Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

At Women, Infants and Children (WIC) in Valley Center, KS, we are dedicated to supporting low-income women, infants, and children under five years old with essential nutrition education and supplemental food assistance. Our program is designed to serve residents at nutritional and/or medical risk, offering valuable resources that include nutrition education to enhance family health, supplemental food checks for nutritious food choices, and referrals to local health and community agencies for added support. Additionally, we provide free breastfeeding support and educational classes to empower new mothers. Although our facilities are currently closed to the public due to COVID-19, we remain committed to serving our community through phone appointments. New clients can easily get started by calling our WIC Call Center to schedule a health exam, ensuring that we continue to meet the urgent needs of families in our area.
