Nutrition Program

The Area Agency on Aging's Nutrition Program in Tonganoxie, KS, is dedicated to providing nutritious meals that enhance the well-being of seniors in our community. We understand the unique challenges faced by seniors who are temporarily or permanently homebound due to physical or mental impairments, and we are committed to serving those individuals through our home-delivered meals service, Meals on Wheels, as well as offering welcoming congregate meal options for seniors who are able to join us at our nutrition sites. To access our Meals on Wheels service, seniors must complete a home-delivered meal application, available for download online. For those interested in dining at one of our nutrition sites, a simple call to the Area Agency on Aging office will get you started. While we appreciate donations to support our meal program, they are not required, as our primary mission is to ensure that every senior has access to healthy, nourishing food.
