MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Tonganoxie, KS, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion initiatives. Our mission is to provide tailored support that meets the unique needs of each Veteran, ensuring they have access to a variety of obesity treatment options. Annually, we screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connect them to appropriate weight management services, which include group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and our innovative TeleMOVE! platform for in-home support. Additionally, we offer the MOVE! Coach mobile app for those who prefer a self-managed approach, as well as weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans facing ongoing challenges with weight-related issues.
