Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP)

The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) in Tonganoxie, KS, is dedicated to alleviating hunger by providing free USDA commodity foods to low-income households across the state. Through regular shipments five to six times a year, we supply essential nutrition to those in need, offering a variety of items such as canned vegetables, fruits, juices, meats, cereal, peanut butter, nonfat dry milk, and pasta. To benefit from our program, individuals must apply in their home county, allowing us to meet the immediate food assistance needs of our neighbors effectively and compassionately.
