Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP)

The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) in Stilwell, KS, is dedicated to alleviating hunger by providing free USDA commodity foods to low-income households across the state. Our program prioritizes ensuring that families receive essential nutrition through consistent shipments of food, delivered five to six times a year to local organizations for distribution. Each delivery includes a variety of staples such as canned vegetables, fruits, juice, meat, cereal, peanut butter, nonfat dry milk, and pasta, allowing households to receive between four and ten food items per shipment. We invite eligible clients to apply for assistance within their home county, working together to meet the urgent food assistance needs of our community.
