Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA)

The Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) program in Spring Hill, KS, is dedicated to supporting patients aged 13 and older who are receiving treatment for cancer and blood disorders. Our compassionate team provides a comprehensive range of clinical services tailored to the unique needs of adolescents and young adults, ensuring they receive the highest quality care during this challenging time. We collaborate with a diverse group of specialists, including social workers, child life professionals, nutritionists, physicians, and nurse practitioners, to offer services such as nutrition planning, fertility counseling, and emotional support. As we help patients transition into adult care after age 21, we emphasize a seamless experience by partnering with adult Hematology/Oncology providers. At AYA, we believe in the importance of family involvement and continually seek feedback to enhance our services, focusing on both the medical and emotional well-being of our patients.
