Meals on Wheels/Home Delivered Meals

Meals on Wheels in Shawnee, KS, through Johnson County Aging & Human Services, delivers nourishing meals directly to homebound residents aged 60 and older, as well as their spouses. Our mission is to provide vital food assistance tailored to meet the unique nutritional needs of older adults, with diabetic meal options available upon request. To access our home-delivered meals, individuals undergo a brief need assessment by an Area Agency on Aging assessor. While we suggest a donation of $4 per meal for those ages 60 and over, no one is turned away for their inability to contribute.
