In Home Care

In Home Care, provided by the Johnson County Department of Human Services in Shawnee, KS, is dedicated to empowering older adults to live independently in their own homes. Our mission is to offer compassionate and practical support through a variety of services tailored to individual needs. We provide essential in-home assistance, including attendant care, case management, chore services, counseling, homemaker support, home-delivered meals, medication management, and respite care. Each participant receives a thorough assessment to ensure that the necessary services are accessible, whether through our program or through referrals to other community-based providers. We strive to make these services affordable, offering them on a sliding scale or donation basis, and there is no charge for the initial assessment and coordination of services. At In Home Care, we believe everyone deserves the chance to live with dignity and support in the comfort of their own home.
