Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP)

The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) in Osage City, Kansas, delivers essential support to low-income households by providing free USDA commodity foods. Our program ensures that families receive vital nutrition through shipments made five to six times a year to local participating organizations. Each distribution includes a carefully selected variety of nutritious items such as canned vegetables, fruits, juice, meat, cereal, peanut butter, nonfat dry milk, and pasta, with each household receiving between four to ten food items per shipment. We invite those in need to apply through their home county to access this critical food assistance and help alleviate hunger in our community.
