Financial Assistance

Located in Mulvane, Kansas, Patches of Light is dedicated to assisting families with children facing catastrophic health challenges and financial distress. Our mission is to provide critical support during the most challenging times by offering financial assistance for utilities, housing, gas cards, and grocery cards. To ensure confidentiality and the integrity of the application process, requests must be submitted by hospital staff working closely with the family; individual applications from families are not accepted. We understand the urgency of these situations, which is why we strive to process applications within 2-3 weeks. To facilitate a smooth application journey, we encourage hospital staff to follow up with an email confirming the submission of an application, as this helps us ensure prompt processing and support for those in need.
