The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, located in Mulvane, KS, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of leaders in sustainable food practices. We empower Fellows to become educators and advocates for a socially, environmentally, and economically just food system. Our program offers comprehensive organic food system education without tuition fees, ensuring accessibility for all. During their six-month immersive experience at our campus, Fellows engage in hands-on learning, cultivating diversified crops, implementing health education sessions, maintaining community gardens, and enhancing food and ecological literacy in local schools. Following this, the Fellows contribute to their communities through a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profit organizations to increase access to healthy foods, support farmers markets, and mentor future cohorts. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the hands-on fellowship taking place from May to October.
