Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP)

Located in Louisburg, KS, the Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) is dedicated to addressing food insecurity by providing free USDA commodity foods to low-income households throughout Kansas. By shipping essential food items five to six times a year to participating organizations, TEFAP ensures that families receive the nourishment they need, including canned vegetables, fruits, meats, cereal, and other staples. Each household can receive a minimum of four and up to ten diverse food items designed to meet their basic nutritional needs. Individuals seeking food assistance must apply through their home county, and we warmly invite those in need to access these vital resources.
