Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC)

The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program in Liberal, KS, is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of low-income women, infants, and children through vital food assistance and nutritional support. Our program focuses on promoting healthy eating habits among pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as children from birth to five years. We offer a range of services including personalized nutrition counseling, breastfeeding education and support, and referrals to essential medical, dental, and social services throughout Seward County. Additionally, our Breastfeeding Peer Counselor Program and the WIC/Immunization Collaboration Program provide comprehensive support to ensure the health and nutrition of our community's most vulnerable members.
