Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC)

The Women, Infants, and Children Program (WIC) in Liberal, KS, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our program offers essential food assistance and nutrition education, fostering healthy eating habits that benefit families during critical early developmental stages. WIC provides comprehensive services, including personalized nutrition counseling, breastfeeding support and education, and referrals to medical, dental, and social services available in Seward County. Additionally, we facilitate a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor Program and offer immunizations through our collaboration with local immunization initiatives, ensuring that families have access to vital health resources in a nurturing environment.
