Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP)

The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) is dedicated to ensuring that low-income households in Leawood, KS, have access to essential nutrition through the distribution of free USDA commodity foods. Operating under the Kansas Department for Children and Families, TEFAP delivers nutritious staples such as canned vegetables, fruit, juice, meat, cereal, peanut butter, nonfat dry milk, and pasta to local organizations five to six times a year.
