Nutrition Program

The Area Agency on Aging's Nutrition Program in Leavenworth, KS, is dedicated to providing nutritious meals to seniors, helping to enhance their health and well-being. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by seniors who are temporarily or permanently homebound due to physical or mental impairments, our program offers essential services such as Home-delivered meals through Meals on Wheels and congregate dining at local nutrition sites for those able to visit. Seniors in need can easily apply for home-delivered meals online, while those who can attend a nutrition site are warmly welcomed. We encourage donations to support the cost of meals, but they are not required. At our core, we aim to nourish our seniors and foster community connections, ensuring everyone has access to healthy food options.
