Financial Assistance Funds

Financial Assistance Funds is dedicated to supporting children with special health care needs and their families in Leavenworth, KS, by providing essential financial assistance. Our program is designed to ease the burden of both medical and non-medical expenses, including medical bills, prescriptions, durable medical equipment, and necessary home or vehicle modifications. We also support families with healthcare utilization costs such as travel to medical facilities, lodging, and daily living expenses like food and utilities. To ensure equitable access, we offer grants of up to $500 per family each year, with larger requests subject to review. All fund requests are processed in the order they are received, and we aim to communicate decisions effectively, typically within 15 business days. Our mission is to ensure that every family can navigate the challenges of special health care needs with the support they deserve.
