Marci Ramsay

Marci Ramsay, LSCW, RPT-S, is a dedicated therapist specializing in the assessment and treatment of children from birth to age 10 who are facing developmental and social-emotional challenges. With a focus on client-centered therapy, she provides comprehensive clinical assessments and tailored therapeutic strategies for children and their caregivers. Her expertise includes addressing trauma-related conditions such as child maltreatment, attachment disorders, and adjustment challenges, as well as navigating grief, divorce, and separation from caregivers. Marci also extends her support to parents, offering education and guidance in the face of family stressors. Utilizing a blend of developmentally-appropriate and biologically-respectful therapies, she employs techniques like child-centered play therapy, directive play therapy, Theraplay, EMDR, and the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT) to facilitate self-expression and problem resolution in young children. Marci earned her Master of Social Work degree from The University of Kansas and holds licensure in Kansas as a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker. She is also a certified Registered Play Therapist/Supervisor and is certified in both the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics and EMDR at various levels, showcasing her commitment to professional development and her passion for helping children thrive.
