As a survivor of narcissistic abuse, Joette possesses a profound compassion for individuals who have endured past abuse or trauma, whether inflicted in childhood or adulthood. With over 12 years of experience as a therapist, Joette has successfully worked with a diverse range of clients, including those from LGBTQ and straight communities, as well as varying age groups and those facing severe emotional challenges. She specializes in aiding teen and adult survivors of childhood abuse, sexual assault, and domestic abuse, passionately guiding them toward lives of strength and resilience. Joette employs a variety of effective therapeutic approaches, including EMDR, hypnotherapy, and ego state therapy, which empower clients to shed feelings of inner judgment, shame, guilt, anger, grief, abandonment, loneliness, and anxiety.
