Kansas SNAP-Ed is dedicated to empowering low-income residents of Lawrence, KS, by making healthy choices accessible and attainable. Through engaging nutrition and physical activity education, our program partners with local and statewide organizations to cultivate supportive policies and environments that encourage healthy habits. Our SNAP-Ed classes are designed to help participants enhance their nutrition, increase their fruit and vegetable intake, boost physical activity levels, and maximize their food budgets. We focus on delivering comprehensive nutrition education and health initiatives that foster positive lifestyle changes.
