Financial Assistance Program

The Financial Assistance Program in Lawrence, KS, is dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals and families impacted by bleeding disorders by providing crucial financial support during challenging times. This program offers assistance for a variety of essential needs, including medical equipment and basic living expenses such as rent, utilities, groceries, fuel, and vehicle repair costs. Households may receive up to $500 every two years, with the possibility of special consideration for exceptional circumstances reviewed by the MHA Board of Directors. Our mission is to support those who've exhausted all other options by offering a helping hand when it's needed most. To apply for assistance, eligible individuals can download the application or request it through our office.
