The Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) program based in Lansing, KS, is committed to providing comprehensive care for patients aged 13 and older who are undergoing treatment for cancer or blood disorders. Our program is tailored to address the distinct needs of adolescents and young adults, ensuring they receive compassionate clinical services and vital support throughout their treatment journey. Our dedicated team consists of social workers, child life specialists, nutritionists, and healthcare professionals who collaborate closely with patients and their families to foster a supportive environment. We prioritize open communication, actively seeking feedback to enhance our services, which include specialized support from Child Life professionals, nutrition planning, and fertility counseling. As patients transition into adult care after age 21, we maintain continuity of support through partnerships with adult Hematology/Oncology providers, ensuring that our patients receive the comprehensive care they deserve.
