Kansas Food Assistance Program (SNAP)

The Kansas Food Assistance Program, commonly known as SNAP, is dedicated to supporting low-income households in Kansas City, KS, by providing vital food benefits and access to a nutritious diet. Through our program, eligible participants receive a Kansas Benefit card, which makes it easier to purchase the food they need. We also offer assistance in completing applications and determining eligibility to ensure everyone who qualifies can gain access to our services. In addition, SNAP provides free nutrition education, cooking classes, and physical activity programs to empower families with the knowledge and skills to lead healthier lives. Our mission is to strengthen our community by fighting food insecurity and promoting wellness for all.
