Community Connections Youth Project (CCYP)

In Kansas City, KS, the Community Connections Youth Project (CCYP) empowers older foster youth by providing essential navigational assistance during their transition to adulthood. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by these individuals, CCYP offers a supportive environment where youth can access critical resources. Our comprehensive services include social support, employment assistance with resume writing and interview preparation, and access to a food pantry and clothing closet. We also assist with obtaining driver's licenses, navigating legal issues, and applying for HUD housing. Additionally, our program helps connect youth with physical and mental health care providers and offers educational guidance, including ACT prep and financial aid support.
