MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program in Junction City, KS is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion initiatives. Our core mission is to annually screen all Veterans receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connect them with tailored weight management services that align with their individual needs. With a variety of options including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for in-home support, we empower Veterans to take charge of their health. Additionally, our MOVE! Coach mobile app provides a self-guided approach for those who prefer managing their weight independently. For Veterans facing persistent challenges with weight, we offer access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery options. To participate in MOVE!, Veterans are encouraged to reach out to their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to begin their journey toward a healthier lifestyle.
