Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels of Independence, Kansas, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to seniors aged 60 and above, as well as other homebound individuals throughout Southeast Kansas. Our mission is to ensure that every eligible client receives nutritious, prepared meals delivered directly to their homes, offering one hot meal each weekday and the option for supplemental frozen meals to enjoy over the weekend. We operate on a donation-based model for qualified recipients, ensuring that no one is turned away due to an inability to contribute. We are committed to enhancing the quality of life for our community's seniors by delivering care and nourishment right to their doors.
