Financial Assistance Program

The Financial Assistance Program in Hugoton, KS, is dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals and families dealing with bleeding disorders by providing essential financial support. Our program offers funds to help cover expenses related to medical care, treatment, and prevention of bleeding disorders, as well as assistance with basic living costs such as rent, utilities, groceries, fuel, and vehicle repairs. Each household may receive a maximum of $500 every two years, with the possibility of special consideration for exceptional cases reviewed by the MHA Board of Directors. We specifically aim to assist those who have depleted other assistance options, ensuring that support is available when it is most needed. For assistance, applications can be conveniently downloaded or requested through our office, allowing us to reach those who truly require help during challenging times.
