Women, Infants, & Children (WIC) is dedicated to empowering low-income families in Hiawatha, KS, by offering vital nutrition and health education services tailored to meet their needs. Our mission is to ensure that pregnant and breastfeeding women, new mothers, and children under five years old can access healthy food and resources necessary for their well-being. Through personalized nutrition guidance, food assistance checks for purchasing nutritious groceries, and practical tips for healthy eating, we support families in enhancing their health. WIC also provides referrals for additional services that support the entire family, immunization screenings, and dedicated breastfeeding support to foster healthy beginnings for mothers and children alike.
