Women, Infants, & Children (WIC)

Located in Hiawatha, Kansas, the Women, Infants, & Children (WIC) program is dedicated to supporting low-income families in Atchison County by offering vital nutrition and health education along with access to healthy foods. Our mission is to ensure the well-being of pregnant and breastfeeding women, new mothers, and children under the age of five. We provide tailored nutrition information, checks for purchasing nutritious food, and practical tips for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. WIC also connects families with essential services, offers immunization screening and referrals, and provides dedicated breastfeeding support to create a healthier community for everyone.
