Financial Assistance Program

The Financial Assistance Program in Hiawatha, KS is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals and families impacted by bleeding disorders. We provide essential financial support to those who need help with medical expenses, basic living costs, and other related expenses such as rent, utilities, groceries, fuel, and vehicle repairs. With a focus on those who have no alternative resources, assistance is capped at $500 per household every two years, ensuring that aid reaches those in critical need. In unique situations, the MHA Board of Directors is open to reviewing special requests for additional support. To apply, individuals can download our application or reach out for assistance at our office. Our goal is to stand by those facing financial challenges due to bleeding disorders, offering both compassion and practical support.
