Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program in Girard, KS, is dedicated to fostering healthy eating habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to empower mothers and guardians in Bourbon and Crawford County with the essential resources and knowledge they need to nurture healthy children. WIC offers vital nutrition education, supplemental foods, breastfeeding promotion and support, and referrals for health care services.
