Student Basic Needs Center - Cav Cupboard

The Cav Cupboard, located in Gardner, KS, is dedicated to supporting currently enrolled JCCC students and their families by providing essential resources during challenging times. Our mission is to alleviate food insecurity and help students concentrate on their education by offering supplemental food assistance, including protein items, as well as school supplies and personal hygiene products. Each week, students can visit the Cupboard twice, where they can select up to 5 protein items and 8 hygiene items, ensuring they have the necessities to thrive. As we navigate the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all services are available by appointment to prioritize health and safety. We warmly invite students to reach out and discover how we can assist them in meeting their basic needs.
