Nutrition Program

The Nutrition Program at the Area Agency on Aging in Fort Leavenworth, KS, is dedicated to providing nutritious meals for seniors, ensuring their health and well-being, especially for those who are temporarily or permanently homebound due to physical or mental challenges. We offer two primary services: home-delivered meals through our Meals on Wheels initiative and congregate meals at our nutrition sites. Seniors who need home delivery can easily access our application online, while those who are not homebound are warmly invited to join us at any of our meal sites. Participation is encouraged, and while donations are appreciated to help offset meal costs, they are not required. Our mission is to foster nutrition and community connection for all seniors in our region.
