Women, Infants and Children (WIC) in Derby, KS is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of low-income women, infants, and children under the age of five. Through our vital nutrition education program, we empower families with the knowledge to improve their eating habits and overall well-being. WIC offers essential supplemental food assistance, allowing participants to access specific nutritious foods that promote good health. Additionally, we connect families to vital community and healthcare resources, ensuring they receive comprehensive support. Our program includes free breastfeeding education and support classes, fostering a nurturing environment for new mothers. Prospective clients are encouraged to reach out to our WIC Call Center to schedule a health exam appointment. Please note that due to COVID-19, all appointments are currently conducted by phone to prioritize the safety of our clients and staff.
