Pre-K

The Maize Unified School District in Derby, KS, warmly welcomes young learners through its engaging Pre-K program, designed specifically for 4-year-olds with classes available four days a week—Monday through Thursday, alongside one Friday each semester. For younger children, we offer flexible enrollment options, including two-day or four-day sessions for three-year-olds. Sessions are structured for a productive learning experience, with morning classes held from 8:15 a.m. to 11:25 a.m. and afternoon classes from 12:25 p.m. to 3:35 p.m. Although we do not offer all-day Pre-K or allow enrollment in both morning and afternoon sessions, our focus remains on providing a nurturing environment that fosters early childhood development.
