Clothing Vouchers

In Clay Center, KS, Catholic Charities' Clothing Vouchers program serves eligible individuals and families by providing access to clothing items from our supportive thrift store partners. Clients must meet specific income guidelines to qualify for this vital assistance. Upon approval, families receive vouchers that allow them to choose clothing—up to two tops and two bottoms per household member—from our partner locations in Salina, Manhattan, and Hays. In Manhattan, we collaborate with The Budget Shop to offer clothing and shoes valued at $25 per household, with a limit of four vouchers per month, while Hays partners with The Arc of Central Plains to provide similar support. Our vouchers are available Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. We are committed to helping our community members dress with dignity and care, fostering a sense of hope and empowerment for all.
