Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP)

In Cherryvale, Kansas, the Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) is dedicated to ensuring that low-income households have access to essential nutrition through free USDA commodity foods. Our program works tirelessly to deliver vital food assistance five to six times a year to local organizations involved in distributing these resources. Each delivery includes a variety of nutritious options such as canned vegetables, fruit, juice, meat, cereal, peanut butter, nonfat dry milk, and pasta, providing at least four and up to ten items per household. We invite anyone in need to apply in their home county so we can support you in fulfilling your basic food needs with care and efficiency.
