Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

Women, Infants and Children (WIC) in Cheney, KS, is dedicated to supporting low-income women, infants, and children under the age of five by offering essential nutrition education and supplemental food assistance. Our program focuses on residents facing medical and nutritional risks, providing vital resources such as nutrition education to enhance the family's dietary habits and overall health, supplemental food vouchers to purchase nutritious foods, and referrals to local health and community agencies for further support. Additionally, we offer complimentary breastfeeding support and educational classes to empower parents. New clients can conveniently schedule a health exam appointment by contacting our WIC Call Center. Please note that in response to COVID-19, all WIC services are currently conducted via phone to ensure the safety and well-being of our clients.
