Participants will grow and distribute diverse crops, develop educational sessions, maintain gardens, and foster ecological literacy in schools. By collaborating with local non-profits during their Community Action Year, they put theory into practice, supporting farmers markets, community food coalitions, and various initiatives aimed at improving food assistance pathways. Applications are accepted until March for the following year’s program, running from May to October, inviting passionate individuals to join the mission of creating a socially, environmentally, and economically just food system.
