The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Vincennes, IN, is dedicated to empowering individuals to transform the food system into one that is socially, environmentally, and economically sustainable. Our program provides comprehensive education in organic food systems, enabling selected Fellows to become advocates for positive change. With no tuition cost, we ensure accessibility for all participants. Over a six-month experiential learning period at Allegheny Farm, Fellows gain hands-on experience while working on diverse crop production and community garden initiatives. They implement innovative health care educational sessions, foster food and ecological literacy in schools, and promote local farmers markets. Following their intensive training, Fellows engage in a Community Action Year, applying their knowledge in collaboration with regional non-profits to enhance food access and support community food coalitions. Applications are accepted until March for experiences running from May to October.
