The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in Terre Haute, IN, is dedicated to fostering a socially, environmentally, and economically equitable food system. Through comprehensive training, this program empowers selected Fellows to become advocates and educators in sustainable food practices. Participants engage in six months of hands-on experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus, gaining vital knowledge in organic farming, food literacy, and community engagement. Fellows collaborate with regional non-profits to grow diversified crops, maintain school and community gardens, and implement innovative educational initiatives. By promoting access to fresh, healthy food and supporting local food systems, the Fellowship plays a critical role in transforming food access and community health. The application process opens annually, with opportunities available from May to October.
