Located in New Albany, IN, the Floyd County Health Department's Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program is dedicated to supporting pregnant and postpartum women, as well as parents of young children, by offering essential food assistance, personalized nutrition education, and vital breastfeeding support. Our mission is to empower families through practical resources, including supplemental foods and health care referrals, ensuring that every participant has the tools they need to thrive. During COVID-19, we are providing services via phone and have expanded our food offerings to provide even more choices to our valued families. We are here to help you navigate these critical early years with care and guidance.
