In Mount Vernon, IN, the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program is dedicated to fostering healthy food habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with infants and children up to five years old. WIC offers essential services including nutrition education, access to supplemental foods, support for breastfeeding mothers, and referrals to vital healthcare resources.
