Emergency Food Pantry in Mount Vernon, Indiana, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to residents of Posey County, including those temporarily in the area. Our mission is to ensure that everyone has access to vital emergency food supplies, offering support to households in need once a month. Each visit provides enough food to sustain families for 2-3 days, and for those facing exceptional challenges, we collaborate with the Black Township Trustee’s Office to facilitate special requests for additional food support. We are here to help our community thrive by alleviating hunger and providing practical assistance when it is needed the most.
