Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

Women, Infants and Children (WIC) is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of pregnant women, new mothers, infants, and young children in Monticello, IN. Operating under IU Health Bloomington, our program offers essential food assistance tailored to meet the specific nutritional needs of income-eligible families in Monroe and Greene Counties. We provide access to healthy foods, nutrition screenings, and education, alongside vital breastfeeding support that fosters community connections through our Peer Counselors. In addition, WIC connects families to valuable health resources and services across Indiana, ensuring that every participant has the support they need to thrive.
