The Selma Schimmel Vital Grant is dedicated to supporting individuals in Michigan City, IN who are experiencing significant financial hardships due to chronic, terminal, or rare conditions such as cancer, Parkinson’s, or Huntington’s Disease. This compassionate program provides essential utility and grocery assistance, focusing on alleviating immediate financial burdens for those in need. While the grant offers vital support for either utilities or groceries, we also collaborate with other organizations to connect beneficiaries with additional resources and assistance.
