Based in Merrillville, IN, CORE is dedicated to providing essential financial assistance to employees in the restaurant industry who are facing financial challenges due to illness or medical emergencies. Our mission is to support food and beverage service workers with children, helping to alleviate the burden of expenses such as rent or mortgage, utilities, medical bills, therapy, and vital child needs like diapers and childcare costs. CORE is here to ensure that families have the support they need during difficult times, allowing them to focus on recovery without the weight of financial stress. Previous grant recipients can apply again after 12 months, and we maintain a commitment to a lifetime cap of $7,500 in support, ensuring we reach as many families as possible. Together, we strive to nurture a resilient community of restaurant employees and their families in their times of need.
