The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship based in Logansport, IN, is dedicated to cultivating knowledgeable and passionate advocates for a just food system. This program empowers selected Fellows through hands-on training and education in areas such as organic farming, community gardens, and food literacy, all designed to ensure equitable access to healthy food. Over six months at the beautiful Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows gain valuable experience in growing and distributing diverse crops, supporting local farmers markets, and implementing innovative health care education initiatives. Following this immersive training, Fellows engage in a Community Action Year, applying their skills in partnership with regional non-profit organizations to further the mission of enhancing food accessibility. With no tuition fee, the Fellowship promotes accessibility and inclusivity, helping future leaders make lasting impacts in their communities. Applications are accepted until March for the experience running from May to October each year.
